The British Independent Academy provides training for a wide range of languages and is based in Rimini, the premier holiday resort of Italy, and located on the Adriatic Riviera.

THE ACADEMY

The Academy is owned by an English proprietor and provides training at all levels from basic conversation skills to fluency including training to meet requirements of professional examinations. It is located in the centre of Rimini just off the main city square. It has bright and airy rooms and audio-visual facilities.

RIMINI

The city, with its Roman heritage has some fine buildings as well as a glorious beach with numerous bars, sports facilities and evening discos. It has a twice-weekly market that attracts visitors from miles around. It is also well placed for visits to picturesque hill-top towns and offers organised tours to other centres such as Florence, Ravenna, Venice and Rome. The weather in the summer is sunny and hot and the sea warm for swimming.

THE COURSES

The Academy offers conversational skills training in Italian for English speakers over 18 years of age. Courses are available all the year round. They are designed to enable participants to learn Italian in the mornings and practise their newly learned skills in the afternoons and evenings while enjoying the delights of Rimini. All teachers are fully qualified and the teaching is normally in small groups or can be arranged on an individual basis. For the best results a 2 weeks course of 4 hours teaching per day (9am to 1pm) apart from Saturdays and Sundays is recommended. Shorter courses can be arranged if required.
